Ended up trying 5 plates/circles and it went together fine. I'm going to try it one more time with paint to double check the color on the 5th plate, but I think I'm going to include black/white/grey. I guided them through the paint/color mixing, since they wanted to use too much paint to achieve the appropriate color, as the writer warned! We stretched this project out over many days since I'm in a before/after school program and homework gets priority, but the children looked forward to adding a color to their plates each time. They were challenged by the plate assembly, but helped each other and were very proud of their final product which we hung above their respective desk. We did use bobby pins as recommended (Dollar Tree) and those worked. Crisp folding of the plates is helpful...some children were hesitant to press down hard to form the triangles but that helped with the best outcome. Thanks for the instructions!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14982075442989801244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2596420938752384378.post-68065901800335707382020-09-11T06:57:15.596-07:002020-09-11T06:57:15.596-07:00Thank you for this. They will like the challenge. The hardest part is clipping them together.
