Welcome to Art Room 104! Well, I no longer teach in room 104...it's now room 309, but the heart is still there! I have now transitioned into teaching 7th-12th grades, and my focus is now moving towards Choice Based Learning in the art room. Join me on my journey as I enter new territory, experiment, and share how I fit it all into the realm of Common Core!

Going for a room change...
I think this is the first time the furniture has been rearranged in my classroom in years! We shall see how this arrangement works...I don't have many options for a room layout since my desk and shelves aren't moveable...
I used to move the tables around in my room at least a couple of times a year. My desk and cabinetry were also not moveable, but it was fun changing up the room from time to time. I enjoyed the reactions of kids.
Yes, this is the first time I think they have been moved, even since the teacher before me! I don't really have a whole lot of options, which drives me nuts! Before this arrangement, I had tried an arrangement of angled tables, but it didn't really work for me. The kids are going to be VERY surprised, and my guess, excited when they see this on Monday!
