And my new toy for my camera...bought myself a 55-250mm lens! A friend of my family works at a camera shop and he was able to sell this to me, slightly used, for $100. It actually never left the store...a customer bought the Canon Rebel package deal with two lenses, but didn't want this particular lens, so it was put on consignment so he/she could purchase a different lens. So now, I have taken my 35mm camera with all my lenses, filters, etc to him to put on consignment and I purchased this baby! (I know, I know...how could I give up that old camera? I don't have any place to develop my own photos, so I'm going all digital!)
